Parent Commitment and Volunteering
-
CCMT is a volunteer based nonprofit organization. In an effort to put on the best production possible and involve our community, we ask all parents to volunteer their time during the show season. During the 2 months of rehearsals there are multiple work days to volunteer at.
Though we would love parents to volunteer, any family representative volunteer is great!
-
You can sign-up to volunteer in many different areas including:
Playbill coordinator
Outreach Coordinator
Cast Meal Coordinators
Concessions
Seamstresses
Crafters
Costuming
Set Building
Painting
and More!

Work days are the perfect time to get in your volunteer hours!
Our workdays begin Saturday, January 25th, and will be held every Saturday (with breaks for holidays) from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., until show week.
-
Our load-in from the workshop into our performance venue will be Sunday, March 2nd. We ask as many volunteers to be present as possible as this is a huge endeavor.
Our Strike (Tear down and load out) will be Saturday, March 8th after the second performance. One representative from each family is required to help tear down. The whole process takes roughly 3 hours from start to finish.
-
If the volunteer commitment is too much, no problem! We have a buy out option for $200. This allows us to hire labor to replace your volunteer hours.
-
Our Playbill is a great way for the community to get involved with CCMT. We encourage all parents to to speak with members of their communities (Denist, doctor, dance studio, gym, insurance company, etc.) about our production and ask if they would like to purchase an ad.
We are so grateful to have families who love to be involved in the show process! Our CCMT community, along with the students, is what makes our shows come to life!
