CCMT’s mission is to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty through the arts. With that mission in mind, the content we choose both for teaching and performance is done with a specific purpose in mind - to enrich the lives of our students and the audience alike.
Our commitment to truth encompasses fostering intellectual curiosity and critical thinking in our students, encouraging them to explore unique perspectives and find Truth in every story. For we all know, when we know the truth it will set us free!
In the realm of goodness - Goodness nourishes the soul. Therefore we aim to tell stories with themes that instill values such as empathy, compassion, and cooperation - Preferring another above yourself.
Why does Beauty matter? We are created in the image of God (Imago Dei) and He has given us the ability to know and reproduce beauty; CCMT therefore, seeks content that cultivates this ability.
